RTU Database Generator (GBD) is a software tool for PC created to facilitate and standardize the definition and configuration of complex
telecontrol systems.
GBD allows the definition of a comprehensive database for the telecontrol system of a facility in a simple and intuitive way using a windows interface.
User must define the different physical elements in the facility, signals, commands and measuring associated with each item, telecontrol equipment
required, and communications among the different elements in the telecontrol system (both control centers and IEDs)
GBD will produce the configuration files for SEMI RTUs and ControlSuite local and/or remote SCADA, database documentation (signals lists, internal
logic, devices and elements lists) and, as an option, any files that other control centers might need. Thus, a single database integrates and
generates all the files needed for managing the telecontrol system.
